I don't own any SS barrels but if I had one I would choose Black on Stainless.

I'd go for all black.
Including the SS barrel by which ever means are available to you (TiALN, Teflon, or what ever other coating is suitable). Just my personal taste, as I'm not a fan of the way SS looks on a rifle barrel.

Agree, send the barreled action off to be properly finished.... in non-glare/matte blk. then add a matte blk scope/mount.
I can't imagine why someone would choose raw/unfished steel, except on maybe a pure target gun.
