Lancaster "C" Grade DR

What features would one expect to see on the Lancaster "C" Grade Double.. What would it have in common with other Rifles made for that buyer Class..

There is a very nice Lancaster "C" grade 450/400 listed on Cabela's Gun Library. Lots of high resolution pictures. Maybe this will help show some of the features you are wondering about. Looks like a very nice gun for a reasonable price!

Your Alex Henry would it be a high end double for it's time.. What features of interest are built into Your Rifle.. Are Lancasters of such quailty...

My AH is identical, except for the engraving, to the Lancaster. Stalker safety, side clips, intercepting sears, claw mounts. A sort of weird adaption of a screw grip third fastner.





Lancasters were top of the line rifles. No worries about quality.
