Men of Oz,

That's a horrible amount of procreation going on out in your deserts. SHAME!

Please tell those camels, "No glove, no love."

Better yet, send them a .416 caliber birth control pill.

Can you mail a skull out or will your government want camel taxes for it?

Charging wounded.....Camel? [Re: NitroX]

Well I guess its about like shooting sod puppies here in Colorado! You just use a bigger gun. Say do camels charge when wounded? Is there a Mark Sullivan movie out about Death by rogue camel! I'm sure their dangerous..if they fall on you, or spit in your eye or something. I'm just joking here, any wild animal can be dangerous, just look at all the idiots that get killed by deer here in the states every year.

Dangerous YES !
They have been known to run a person down and either bite them or drop their front legs out from under themselves and crush the person with its brisket.
I've seen the old or dominent bull in a mob try to do it to a couple of dogs whilst trying to muster them into a set of portable yards.

This would fall (pun intended) in the "fall on you" attack. Yes, any wild animal is dangerous, and something as big as a camel certainly would be in the right situation.

How much lead can a camel take?

308 as an absolute min.
338 win mag would probably be the best choice.

If you are ever after numbers to make up a group of hunters, count me in.

Yeah really weird almost dinosaur like head, but any animal that can see you clearly at 450m and well enough to run from you at 800m is really a "game" animal. Thier height is a massive advantage from predators in the deserts as well as the speeds they can move at.....

My friend the late Zulf the Wolf once shot a camel by mistake. Now Zulf was a big game hunter, big time boozer and big time womaniser. One night we were on a wild boar hunt, sitting in the forest in a hideout and Zulf was drinking away while I was napping when suddenly I heard a shot.Zulf had fired at something, insisting that it was a big wild boar.On inspection it turned out to be a camel.Thats not all,the camel was being ridden by a local of the area and was shot beneath his legs. The camel was stone dead and the man was shitting in his pants.Rifle used was a 7mm.mag.Believe me its all true and happened exactly as mentioned.

AspenHill,

A camel skull could be mailed out of Australia with some creative input on the customs form.

I have never had a box that I mailed from Australia to the USA opened, regardless of contents.

However, all boxes going into Australia that I ever received had been opened and inspected by customs.

Richard.

Igbal

Too much.

You must have more information to share on Zulf the Wolf.
