Well, I did not get much due to illness and was not able to complete my buff hunt but I did get a few good trophies:

Took three warthog with the bow, this being the best:

He had 11.5 inches of exposed tusk.

27 inch Blue Wildebeest

And my best, a 24 inch Southern Impala

Going back next year to complete my buffalo hunt. I have decided to hit Oz for 2005.

Did you use the 45-70 at all? When you do the buff hunt next year will it be with the Marlin rifle? Just wondering. The whole thing caused quite a stir over at AR because of the caliber.
