Merkel DR sight Question

Have any of you guys with Merkels changed your front sight?

I want to know if it is the same size and shape as a standard Recknagel / NECG sight like shown below?

Newguy,

It sure looks like the same to me, with the retaining screw hole filed off.

I had thought about changing mine, but got over it. That's the one I had picked out.

Let us know if you find out more. You might have to be the one to get to the bottom of this question.
