I went out salmon fishing a couple of weeks back and landed my first coho. [image] [/image] We put in at the bridge just below the hot springs and floated down to the lodge getting out at various pieces of water. Dan the owner has a couple of nice blacktails hanging on his wall, which was more interesting to me than the fishing. pitt river lodge

We were a party of three being fully guided, with all gear included, lunch, transport up the lake and back, and a fishing licence good for the rest of the year, my total came to $330 CDN. They do have cabins for rent as well if you want to go self guided and stay a while. The only way into the place is by plane or boat.

Nice Coho! Those son-of-a-guns are great fighters, especially on light tackle.
