What's happening, Why are the forums not working? II

Hi

The ISP decided to institute SSL or a Security level certificate on the domains, i.e. https , without being authorised. And it has messed up the forums.

If it is reversed, I'm pretty sure, it will go back to normal.

I hope so.

Stay tuned.

For some reason, I can still use the forums using Duck Duck Go. ?? But not google chrome or firefox ???

Hopefully fixed soon.

If reversed we'll revisit the https / SSL thing in December or 2027 ...

One of the potential issues with the NE site, is the internet service provider added SSL certificates to our setup. Some browsers automatically try to load up https or secured addresses as the defacto address. This seems to be a problem, needing fixing.

But Duck Duck Go browser, does not seem to try to force the site to be a https address and works fine with http.

A reason why the browser Duck Duck Go, may have worked right through the current access and setup problems.

A complete resolution and fix, upgrade, shifting the forums, will only occur in December.

So give the Duck Duck Go browser a try in the meantime, if you want access and participate in the forums.

I had 2 days(I think) where my Firefox browser showed a problem, then it worked fine, still does.
