Thought I'd pass this on here. "Ganyana" has posted an advert on the Accurate Reloading forum for a damned cheap, and probably quite good hunt for non-export elephant or cape buffalo, up to December this year.
If you can find the time, it looks well worth it.

Roll up- all ye who dream of double rugged safaris! Seven day Buffalo or NT elephant hunts $500/day and 2k trophy fee.
Buffalo are in the Save Conservancy (a couple of bow hunters didn't get their animals which is why there is quota left). You can have a decent PH like Gordon Duncan or perhaps even me There is a limited ammount of plains game also availabel

A pity I have a reservation for the CAR in january.
Nonetheless next year, sure I'll go to Zimbabwe. What Erik and Dan 500gr are depicting make me recklessly wanting to have a try in Zim before I'll be too old. This Charlie Ganyana (the insider) is one among the bests, he knows all what he is saying. I love his explanations and commentaries about DG shooting and PH shooting tests.
The real trouble on this forum is that we are meeting many excellent PHs and outfitters. When the day'll come to have to pick only one it'll be heartbreaking.
For the one who can at short notice, I think it's an absolutely splendid opportunity.
