I just bought this mint state Gerber C 475 for 50 € (60 USD). I can't trace back this old model so I've no idea how good/bad a deal I made. Any info welcome.

Ton couteau est superbe, très élégant.

Your knife is superb, very elegant. The price is low for such a beautiful knife. I never saw this type of knife, be sure I'd have bought it. More important, Gerber is a spotless maker.
If you happen to sell it remember I am not far from You.

Pas loin en effet Jean-Bernard, d'autant plus que mon épouse est fonctionnaire au P.E. et participe aux sessions de Strasbourg tous les mois (NB. : elle s'y rend aujourd'hui). En fait, je suis tombé sur un collectionneur de couteaux qui liquide sa collection à des prix défiant toute concurrence. Je viens de lui acheter le Gerber + un Puukko Martiini et je compte bien y retourner...

Not far indeed, considering that my wife works for the E.P. and takes part in the monthtly sessions in Strasbourg (she's presently on her way, BTW). Actually, I met a knife collector who's selling out at unbeatable prices. I just acquired the Gerber + a Martiini Puukko and, no doubt, I'll go back for more...
