Picked up a lovely custom 9.3x62 built on a Parker Hale Hussar Action ..
While looking for info on the Hussar Action found this post from 2009
https://forums.accuratereloadi...9411043/m/6751010811
Wonder if anything else has come to light since

Thanks

Be a good action for a custom and 9.3x62 would be my choice. Post some photos if you can?

Claydog sorry about the pics, taking photos with an iPhone has always vexed me..
The shot of the left side of the receiver shows Parker Hale Hussar and a Birmingham Proof mark.. there are no marks on the barrel but I have yet to remove it from the stock..
Care has been taken making this gun .. Just a head of the rear sight base the barrel diameter is stepped down with a small wedding ring in front of the step.. Alaskan Bases and QD Rings have been used and better yet what factory ammo I have shot has been more than satisfactory..
My next project with this when the snow melts will be to file in the rear sights .. it has one standing and three folding ...

Parker Hale rifles were big here in Oz in the '60's up the the Mid '80's or so then they unfortunately went out of business! Our British cousins will bring us up to speed hopefully about that - bloody shame they were the real deal!
I miss out on an 'African' model in .404Jeffery, been kicking myself ever since
Looks a nice hunting rig, what's the calibre?
