I received my 10 bore double rifle today. Is there a way do debubba the punch marks on the receiver?
Maybe laser welding and strike back to smooth?

You probably could and I could see why you would want to, but I don't think I would. All part of its story and it looks to be a fine gun.

Mixed feelings on the repair, but laser welding should work.

I would leave it .. its part of the guns History .. who knows, maybe someday you will discover the meaning of the punch dots .. some famous hunter perhaps ... if you need a 10 bore crimping tool, drop me a note.

This is the rifle I bought one from you for. The case arrived a few days ago. Very nice case and wrapped very well. I won't be able to put them together for a few months. But, thanks.

Ahh, the BB158 rifle. I think your stopping rifle belonged to Butterbean (the 400# superheavy weight boxer).
