That is a fantastic find. Thanks for posting.

Not only is it neat but it clearly shows how a WR "Improved Martini" functions. I believe that WR had 3 or 4 slightly different 'Improved Martini" actions.

My understanding is that there were four variants of the WR Improved Martini, being 1868 (full stocked), 1869, 1870 and 1871 patents,
but two major variants dependent on whether the mainspring was forward of the action (within the fore-end) or within the action itself.
Must check my example, can't remember which it is.
Perhaps it's one of the "improved" Improved Martinis!
