Question on this bottom rib.

I'm looking at this Westley Richards 12ga centerfire and the end of the bottom rib looks to me to have a catch for a ramrod. Can someone tell me if I'm correct? Thanks.

WR had that on a lot of their shotguns. Not actually sure what it was for. Just thought it was always a WR thing.
