WTB - Take-down case with 3" high interior to case my 8 bore DR

I need a case that that has at least a 3" interior height to fit an 8-bore Double rifle - email buckstix@aol.com if you have one for sale

One of the double takedown cases with the divider removed maybe? Case interior modified.

A custom case? Expensive.

The issue is the breech is 3" wide, as are the barrels across the chamber face, also 3". I can re-configure as needed inside, but I need a case with a 3" inside depth. A new custom case is out of the question. Too expensive.

Well, it seemed to take forever to locate a case for my 8-Bore Rodda. I needed a case with a 3 inch inside height. Most cases are only 2-1/2 to 2-3/4" inside. I had to go all the way to Australia to find an old vintage used case. I did some re-configuring to fit every thing inside. All looks good.

Well done tracking one of these down mate!
If I dare ask you where did you get it from; also did you get any oil bottles, turnscrews etc from there as well?
Love the trade label - marvellous job on that one!

I bought from William Laken Moore. It came with eight pieces of 8-bore brass, the oil bottle, the original cleaning rod with brush and mop and patch tips, the two 8-bore snap-caps, an industrial sizing die, and four loaded industrial paper shells. No turn screws, but I might add some to the case. I made the Label on parchment paper. Here is an Auction Listing from a decade earlier.
