what was the Webley Target Launcher?

see it in an auction, never heard about it before https://kessler.atgportals.net/auctions/...0c-b2f100960316

it fire something with a 6 mm Flobert blank cartridge. the target must have been light because the cartridge is not very powerfull so not a clay pigeon.

it looks like the grandfather of the modern dummy launcher for dog training

of course, the dummy launcher shoots the more powerful .22 long tool blank

The Webley launcher is made to fire cans into the air. Will work with the modern drink cans but designed for the older style drink cans that had a rolled lip on the base that sealed the can in the O ring in the launcher. See video in this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3LK6-2ddT0

thanks, see it fire also the long .22 blank instead of the little 6 mm flobert the auction house give in its details. its obviously the modern dummy launcher for dog training is the same model in the end.
