Another rifle in my favorite German caliber - 11.2x72 Schuler

I just added a 4th 11.2x72 Schuler caliber rifle to the family. Although this one is marked "A.Jansen", it is likely made by Schuler.
This is one wonderful rifle. Hope to have a field test later this week.

specs are:

Mauser 98 Action
11.2x72 Schuler caliber - 1 up 4 down
Double triggers
26-1/4" barrel - Octagon to round
Full Length Matted Rib
3 Leaf Rear Site - one standing / two Folding
Silver Bead Front Site
8 pounds 12 ounces
14-1/4" LOP
Red Silvers Recoil Pad
made in 1927

looks like most of the Schüler rifles are in the US today, another exellent find!

here was another .500 Schüler sold by Jansen in Brussels and came home from belgish congo in the 1990s.

Well, back from the range today ... although many are skeptical about this cartridge. I once again proved that you can get a 2400+ fps with the 11.2x72 Schuler cartridge.
