Wonderful photographs. Thanks for posting. Seeing these makes me want to visit Austrailia for a shooting venture.

Cool "shots" claydog. Nice guns, wonderful memories.
Those bovines are beyond me now - might be able to handle a smaller pig or goat. LOL

Great pics the Clay, I see you used a 1895 Mannlicher in one of them, what projectile did you use ?

You need to tell us the cartridge and make of the gun for each pic. Thanks for posting.

John all mine or Patos. The Doubles are all Patos. Matt I will label them if I can remember what they are. Pretty sure they were 160 Woodleighs in the 1895. Was a beautiful little rifle.

That red scrub bull, sure strong in the front shoulders.
Look at all that meat.

Those Mannlicher rifles are delightful to carry and shoot. Great to see that the Woodleigh bullet was used and was effective. Did it take more than one round as the shot seemed a bit far back.

Claydog, the 303, is that a Lee Speed? What bullets did you use if you can remember?

Very nice, Clay. Love seeing the vintage hardware in action.

They all fit my mantra: life's too short to hunt with a rifle younger than oneself!
Dunno how 'young' you or Pato are but I'm guessing the same applies!

Matt that little Mannlicher was a beautiful little rifle. I found it to be pretty effective to be honest. I mainly shot donkeys with it and it was great. I sold it to Pato and he shot the white buffalo so it could have been shot anywhere between 1 and 15 times.
Rule 303 yeah it is a LSA Lee Speed and I would have been using the cheapest factory ammo I could find. Think it was Highland 150 grain. They actually work pretty well if I do my part. I still use them.
Marrakai, Pato is not as old as he looks. I am in my prime.
