Bear skin for sale at local flea market store.
      #389252 - 01/02/25 07:29 AM

Now I think I have seen almost everything. Todays afternoon I visited at local flea market store. I was looking some clothes when I heard a discussion between a man and woman. It went like: "What´s this? Looks like some animals skin. What animal ? So I turned around and saw these people looking a skin hanging on perch. It was quite big, wallnut coloured and fur was quite long. I watched it more carefully and then I noticed nails. They were quite long, a little curved and coloured dark brown. Then I looked the area where animals head wuold be. When seeing those small round ears I was sure. It is a bear, quite small but a real thing. Furs colour doesn´t look like ordinary bear use to have here in Finland so I think this has been shot in Russia (maybe) and then carried to Finland. Then I looked the paper tag where the price seems to be. I read 280€. IMO not so much.

Last time when I saw bear skinn as near, was maybe forty years ago. It hanged on the railing of local souvenir shop. That one was much bigger and very dark coloured.

I'd buy it. Bear skins attract nude blonde ladies who find them irresistible to lie on.

Bear's of the grizzly "genus"? can range from almost blonde to very dark brown, even black(ish). I have seen 2 black/brown grizzlies, both females with cubs.
Compared to black bears, coloured from white (Kermodi) to black & everything in between, the grizzly "genus" has long claws, curved at the ends & up to about 4"- 5" long. The black bears have very short, tightly curved claws, up to 1 1/2" long or so.

I would think the bear was Ursus arctos i.e. eupean bear. Their fur colour varies too but here in Finland most of them are dark brown.

I thought all of the Russian bears were the same as grizzlies.
