Very nice old bull.
Gotta be a record for the most number of "death bellows" from a single animal!

No problem with ejection of the rebated-rim .425s either: nearly chipped the camera lens with one of them!

the action is working or not but a rebated rim cartridge in a double rifle is not realy desirable.
I see it as a gimmick, a toy but not as a gun I would have for a dangerous game hunt. just my personal opinion.

At 7:05 or 6, pointed his rifle at the head of the fellow in front of him , then at 7:11 or so, at the middle of his back.
I suspect he likely still had his finger inside the trigger guard.

That is why NO hunter ever had a ctg. in the chamber of his rifle when he was behind me.

Nothing worse than an excited hunter who is hyped and not knowing where he's pointing his rifle.

Had to say it- freaked me out somewhat. How many times did a hunter have his rifle pointed at me or at the guides I worked with, over the years?

I re-watched it and he always put his finger back onto the trigger, even after taking it out to scratch or something.
Even at 10:56, he still had his finger on the front trigger while walking. Bloody disaster waiting for an opportunity to happen.
After the shot at 13:27, he's got the muzzle pointed up on the sticks and still has his bloody finger in the trigger guard.
Ready on the side is fine, in the guard is not until ready to fire, dammit.
Shouldn't watch these, bloody incompetent gun handling pisses me off.
