Mike,

That is very nice. Hammer drillings are fun guns. Both the 16 ga and the 9.3x72 are excellent cartridges.

Is your 16 ga choked full and full? That is what I understand most German guns were chokes as they didn't do much wing shooting.

Flip up the rear sight, cock the right hammer, then top lever to the left, then front trigger fires the rifle barrel, seemed to me.

No can't get odd ammo in Alaska. I bought it from https://fastammo.com/sellier-bellot-s-b-...paign=9.3x72mm- and had it shipped to my daughter in NC and she brought it up in her luggage when she came. She's my ammo carrier. lol

Mike,

Interesting that your drilling is F & XF. I know my pre-war drillings are at least full and may be XF with right barrel, I never checked.

The 9.3x72 is an easy round to reload, provided you can find 0.366" bullets weighting 200 gr or less. I use the same cast bullets that I use for my 360 EX rifles. Buffalo Arms normally has some S&B 193gr bullets. Factory 9.3x72R ammo has been fairly expensive.

Does your drilling raise the rear sight when you move the top lever to rifle?

Sight isn't automatic on this one. I have a mold for the proper 193 grain bullets.
