its everything I was ever looking for, hope it find a dealer bringing this to europe.
https://darkmountainarms.com/stowaway-rifle/ price is fine for such a gun.

this is exactly the kind of rifle to have on the back whenever being in the hunting area to take predators like fox or crows.

Looks a bit like those Colt survival rifles. But single shot.

The 5.7x28 is a truly bad and evil cartridge. Our local Police about 15 to 20 years ago wanted to ban it. Along with other evil "sniper" cartridges, .338 Lapua, BMG .50 etc. Somehow the .416 Rem Mag got on the list ... But the 57x28 was an evil round capable of "penetrating police bullet proof vests from a handgun". I think someone wanted Goa'uld armour being penetrated by the 5.7x28 !

I forget it's ballistics.

One of these would make a nice survival rifle, small scope, in a plane boat vehicle, backpack. Better if it was a semi auto handgun modified with a rifle barrel

Might even be legal here as a single shot.

Lancaster,
Thanks for posting. That is an interesting little rifle. It would be nice in 357 S&W or even 32 Mag, both of which would be good small/medium game cartridges. I believe that the 5.7x28 would be too distructive for edible game and not powerful enough for medium size game like deer.

I was thinking it would be better in .357 MAX.

yes, 357 maximum would be the pinnacle in this little action. barrel change is very easy and its mayby possible to make another barrel very easy. the action is designed to be universal.
the 5,7x28 is good for shooting predator game up to 150 meter.
anyway, if I get it here will take it and if only for the sake of simplicity it offer.

and thats while allmost any new stuff I see is absolutely boring.

A 5.7x28 in a good accurate bolt action 23 grs at 2800 fps with a fragile HP projectile would make a good fox fur getting rifle, head shooting rabbit and hare rifle. Should be good to 200 metres plus.

What is a benefit is one could own a rifle and handgun using the same ammo. For a survivalist or prepper that's a good idea.

such á handgun is a big no-no here.
years ago they find out it pentrate body armor so handguns for centerfire cartridges with a smaller caliber than 6,35 Browning/.25 ACP were forbidden over night. the guns were declared as "forbidden items" and thats the same class like hand grenade and similar stuff. the very few owners of such handguns: FN in 5,6x28, the little russian PSM in 5,45x18, the single shot pistol in .221 rem fireball and some more had to bring this pistols to the police immediately and the guns were destroyed. because it were only some gunowner in question they got no money at all for compensation.

Lancaster,

If you get a Stowaway, please report back on accuracy and velocity.
