That is a very neat grill. The video explaining the grill operations was good. Actually I got hungry just watching the meat being cooked and cut on the video. Luckily my wife is frying some very nice venison chopped steaks.
I think the firebox is too small. One can't fit decent stumps or logs in there to get really good long lasting hardwood coals going.
The "córrugated" cooking tray on top looks to drain the fat forwards, not backwards. If so the fact will drop on you, your hands and arms, as you manage the meat on the grill. If somreally stupid not to drop to the back. My observation might be wrong.
At A$4,250 expensive. Got lots going for it though. A more elaborate version of the South African outdoor bbq grills of similar design. A large metal open front box. A square fire box tomonevside. A large grill plate, flat and bars. Coal tray underneath. I've wanted one of these for a couple decades. A local South African expat business used to sell them. Last time I looked around A$1,800. Something brick would need to be built to surround them. Normally in a wall. I wonder if on a base would be sufficient?
This Aussie made Parilla is obviously far superior.
