It's home finally. Took almost an extra month as it's so far unique in Australia. No other Boucher side by side 12-bores in Australia on the National Identification data base.

I've only got some 65 mm 5 shot ammo so far. I might have some other shells at home.

Will try a pattern test from each barrel.

I shouldn't visit such places. A deposit was put on a 16-bore Jeffery side by side, choked cylinder and perhaps three-quarters (?). The 3/4ers seems strange matched with a cylinder "choke".

Weighing less than 6 lbs.

May make a nice skeet and quail gun.

Needs some work, a new recoil page. Some screws cleaned up.

At last a British game gun.

I load 2 1/2" for my Field SxS, using 75gr. 1F and 1 1/4oz. 7 1/2's for clay birds at rendezvous. No chokes, cylinder bores.
Missed one bird in 25.
The event was 20 shots, and went 5 more in a shoot-off for 1st. The other guy was shooting a Cooey single shot. The only stipulation was it had to have a hammer, or hammers.
I lost. Didn't get on the bird soon enough, my bad.

Excellent!!

I'll be very interested in the regulation of those barrels. I always wonder how the "old guns" actually performed. I wonder what the standards might have been for the maker? For that matter, what the standards are for modern makers!
