Steyr Scope Rings for Swing-Out Mount
      #382511 - 13/02/24 09:12 AM

I just bought a M-S, and it came with the Steyr swing-out scope blocks/mounts installed, but no scope rings. Does anyone out there in M-S Land know where I might obtain rings to fit this mount. My mount is the one with the swing-out pivot on the left side of the front mount, not the one with the pivot centered in the front mount. By the way, again this is the Steyr mount, and scope is pivoted horizontally to decouple it from the rear mount, and then can be lifted from the front mount. This is not a tilt-off or tilt-over mount, where the axis of tilt is parallel with the barrel.

Thanks,
Tony

What size rings are you after as there were many different sizes.

@ Rothhammer1 -- Yes, that mount is the one I have.

@ Waidmannsheil -- Ring diameter was not the question. It was about ring availability, which I presume is minimal except from maybe a few knowledgeable people. I'll deal with the diameter of the rings when I find them. Presummably, scopes to fit rings are easier to find than rings to fit this mount. One inch dia. would be a good starting point for me, and appears likely to be the most common size. I am aware of other sizes, especially for larger scope objectives.

Thanks.
