Ok, because it does look a little more satin than other rifles you have made in the past. It looks superb actually.

Fantastic work Joel.

One of my ambitions before I give up in life, is to own one or more of your masterpieces.

I was thinking only a day or two ago, of reposting some of your work in the forums. So thanks very much for posting these updated finished photos.

The owner of that rifle has a very special usable rifle. An heirloom. Asha's been written, that butt plate and grip cap are especially nice.

I think the owner must have an iron shoulder, not having a rubber recoil buttpad for a 9,3x62. But what a nice result. I think I'd do a .275/7x57 that way, not a 9.3!

Both of my 9.3x62's have no recoil pads. They don't kick much with factory-level loads. Soft-ball kick.

A true work or art. We are all jealous. seeing this rifle inspired me to have a open sight 9.3x62 built. Its on a 1933 built Winchester model 54 action that was sitting in my gunsafe. it has the Lothar Walther barrel and the Lyman 48 but thats where the similarity ends. It should be completed soon. I will post photo's.
