I was thinking about selling one of my Pedersoli doubles and went online to get some kind of idea what they are selling for. Were my eyes deceiving me or are new ones actually selling for $15k AU?
I had a look at the used guns website and second guns seem to have appreciated in price considerably. Why pay so much above what was the original purchase I have no idea. Especially all these crappy plastic stocked mass produced stuff. Maybe I'm out of touch. I won't be buyingmuch anymore at those prices.
Not sure why some rifle sold for $1000 is now worth $3000 ?

The au website doesn't list new prices. $15,000 IMO is ridiculous. Second hand prices for a breech loading DR seem around A$2000 to A$7000. I suppose all .45/70. I see .450 NE is also listed now.

Yeah I had a look at the Pedersoli website and when you try to find the price for the Kodiak it brings a pop-up requesting you send your personal information for an email reply. And this "Pedersoli price list" has no prices in it. How helpful. https://bilozir.net/pedersoli-2023-price-list/
My personal opinion is that the modern design, higher end, Gardone double rifles are some of the best deals around and mostly very nice guns. But then again all my doubles are from Val Trompia
