What a wanker. Shot the first buffalo well. It was going to die. Probably heard too many bullshit stories and keep shooting until it drops by people who can't shoot anyway. Rushes the second shot , shoots the wrong bull. Original bill falls over anyway.

Too much panic. It's only a buffalo!

I have never shot a buffalo in an open area like this. That's why I have always asked myself why a wrong buffalo was not shot more often in the thick bush, which would be easier to explain especially when hunting near a herd. As one can see, something like that also seems to happen in open areas.

I don't think I would have confused the buffaloes on such a terrain, as there was also a difference in color of the skin. Nevertheless, I don't allow myself to make any judgments about the hunter, because such actions cause stress for many people and that's why the brain doesn't always deliver the expected performance. One must never say never, can happen to everybody.

I think someone can be very critical of someone shooting the wrong buffalo after shooting the first. Same as a pass through hitting a second animal.

There isn't always unlimited animals on quota to sell a second. Could result in a second wounded animal. Sloppy.

Mistakes happen. Wounded animals happen. Shit happens. Everyone ffffs up eventually.
