I received request for information about 4 more Jeffery firearms and will send that to TFG at the end of September.

If anyone else has a Jeffery or is considering buying a Jeffery firearm and would like to see the information in the Jeffery Daybook, please let me know fairly soon, at least before the end of September.

Todate, TFG has provided information about 16 Jeffery guns which is very nice on their part.

I reopened, resurrected this thread per jcorry's query for a Jeffery he has.

As of this week, I hav a new Jeffery, a 16-bore side by side "game gun". Choked cylinder and "CHOKE" which might be improved modified per measurement, but hopefully improved cylinder.

So I'm interested in Daybook information again.

Anyone else? If 85lc enquires, get a few at the same time?

Serial number for the 12-bore BLE game gun inbound to my location is visible here:

The date range for the serial number block containing this gun is 1907 - 1912 according to Nigel Brown.

Is there anyone else with Jeffery guns that would like info from the Daybook?

John, what is the serial number of your gun?

Marrakai, I read your serial number as 20541. Is that correct?

That's 20341 I reckon.

Its No.1 of a pair so either 20340 or 20342 should be identical. Most likely 20342.
Would be nice to know for sure!

...and probably should have realized this is the older thread. Should have asked if the offer still stood! Sorry...

Will be interesting to see the dates that match those numbers. The page I have from Jeffery has the 1907 manufactured guns in the 16700s so assuming yours would be towards the 1912 end. Could be anywhere though from what I have seen over the years.

I will post it up. Get it out of the safe today.

Edit: it won't be for a week or so.
