I've never seen one with a full length rib.

A rare, but not unknown factory option. The 1914 Franz Sodia, Ferlach, Austria, catalog listed the standard Mannlicher – Schoenauer Stutzen M03 - M10, full-stocked carbine as well as half-stocked rifle, at Kronen 225.-, about US$ 45.- then, pre-WW1. Factory options were listed at these extra charges:
Ribbed barrel = Kr. 30.-
Peep sight = Kr. 18.-
Take down = Kr. 25.-
Extra light at 2,7 kg = Kr. 18.-
Barrel of Boehler “Antikorro” rust resistant steel = Kr. 70.-
“Anticorro” barrel with rib = Kr. 120.-

Options offered in the 1939 Stoeger included Extra for rib - $35.00 and Antinit with rib - $45.00, Antinit being a superior grade of steel.
