What an experience to remember though. Looking into a wild lions eyes at less than a metre.

Is it a lioness? Or a younger lion?

As for those eyes, is she or he deciding? Edible or not? It does not look threatened at all. No fear at all in the cat. Maybe the closest it has been to a human as well?

I remember being at the zoo and a wolf staring at me from a few metres away. That look. Definitely different from a omestic dog. Also the way they move. Instinctively wild. I remember those eyes clearly. Of course a barrier in between.
