I've head this helps improve bead visablility.

Yes they are very good as they allow you to see the front sight
as the light always reflects off the diamond.

However you need to make sure it is set at the correct angle so it
doesn't change the sight picture.

The easier method is to make sure that the Brass on the front sight
is cut at 30 - 45 degrees and polished - as opposed to flat/vertical
- if flat / vertical the sight picture changes depending on which angle
the sun reflects off it.
