Hambrusch Boxlock Ejector Express Rifle .500 Nitro

Cabela's has had a Hambrusch Boxlock Ejector Express Rifle .500 3" Nitro Express on their website for $12,500 for quite some time. Does anyone out there have any information concerning this brand double rifle or this particular rifle?

Peter Hambrusch builds top quality guns at his shop in Ferlach, Austria, and is very ingenious as well.

It's a good looking rifle. Stock is a bit short for me. It is very light for a .500, in my opinion.

If you want something quality,powerful, short and light it should be a good buy.

At 14 7/8th, how long a stock do you like ?

That is a very long stock on a DR that you may need to
snap shoot with which is why they often have shorter stocks
than Bolt Action rifles.

I think it looks a great DR at a very good price.
Most German guns are good and well built
- AND they at least have strict proof laws !!!

I notice it now has "Sale Pending". Anyone here bought it ?
