Western double rifle Match

On Oct. 8 of this yr. The NRA-ILA and B. Searcy & Co. will co-sponsor the Western Double Rifle Championship. For all the details check out the front page of my web site or the Ca. side by side societies web page. Even if you don't want to shoot in the competion, but have an interest in doubles you will enjoy yourselves, and possibly learn allot. I will have doubles there for those that wants to shoot. Just pay for the ammo. You will find the course very challenging and allot of fun. This match is called a championship but what it's really about is having fun and visiting with people that has the same interest.

Also if there is any of you that has any influence with Krieghoff, Merkel, or that french co., try to encourage them to come and be represented.
I look forward to seeing you there, and making new friends.

Dumb question here, but since I'm saving my pennies to order a Searcy double rifle, does anyone know if Searcy doubles in a number of different calibres will be available to shoot at this event?

Butch has stated that he'll have some doubles for people to shoot and to just pay for the ammo. You can PM or E-mail him as to which calibers he'll bring. You can bet that there's going to be at least one 470 there.

No kidding!!! This is opening day for most of our seasons... I would be there if he had chosen some slack hunting times.
