Hey Guys, I have returned from my first Safari. I booked with Hannes Els of Limcroma Safaris (www.limcroma.com)and I couldn't be more pleased!
I took 10 different animals including an Impala that went over 28" in length on each horn. We roughly scored it in SCI and it is about the 3rd. largest ever taken. The other animals taken were as follows: another Impala, Wildebeest, Red Hartebeest, Waterbuck, Kudu, Gemsbok, Eland, Zebra and an old bull Giraffe that was almost black in color. All were trophy book quality animals.
South Africa is an amazing place. The quality, quantity and variety of animals are incredible. I used my Remington 700 in .375 H&H with Leupold 1.5-6 LPS scope. I found this the perfect caliber and combination for all the animals I took. All were one-shot kills at distances from about 70 to 200 yards. Once I get some time and I figure it out, I will try and post some pictures.

Bwana, I'd love to help you out, but you're talking to a technological idiot when it comes to that sort of thing. Hopefully one of our resident computer genius's will come on board and help you out.

Bwana,
First go to www.photobucket.com and establish an account.
Next, upload your pics from your hard drive to www.photobucket.com. You can use photobucket's BROWSE key to find your photos on your hard drive.
Then, from your photo portfolio in photobucket, copy the 3rd line of link location for a photo. It looks like this:
Finally, post that link location in your post here at www.nitroexpress.com

Everything 500grains said and one more thing: You might want to or need to resize the images before uploading them. They may be so large (in file size and resolution) as they come from the camera, that they won't conveniently display here on the forums. Example: resize a 2500x2000 image to 600x480 pixels or so.
I use a program called VuePrint to resize images. It can be found at: http://www.hamrick.com/upg.html There are other graphics programs that can resize images as well.
Just a thought.... -Bob F.

NitroX,
I sent you the photos today. I hope you can get them posted for the other guys to see.
I was hunting in the Limpopo Province of South Africa near Thabazimbi. Limcroma Safaris is located where the Limpopo River, Crocodile River and Marico River come together. The combination of these three names is where the name of the safari company comes from.
