Well folks, thanks for your estimates on the length of the Kudu horns. The winner is Christer. His estimate was 54 3/8 just 1/8 on an inch less than Mikeh416rigby.
The actual length was under 53 inches. The reason the horns looked bigger was that the horns had a very shallow curl, the thing to look for in a great Kudu is a good deep curl to the horns.
So anyway, Christer wins a copy of our "Handy Little Hunting Book" which is sent to all clients who book a safari with us and is aimed at answering all their questions during the run up to their hunt......It will be in the post to him on Monday and I'll look forward to hearing what he thinks of it.
I just recieved the book and it is just great, gives a lot of answers to the questions you will have. As I will be leaving on monday for my next hunt it will be perfect on the plane toghether with African Hunters Shot placement pocket guide.
Thanks so very much....

For you who did not get the book, just take a safari through Shakari to get it or if you book with me you can watch my copy.
