Hembrug 1918 Dutch Mannlicher
      #340091 - 15/04/20 06:27 AM

Finally got the stock back and finished up, The first stock cracked to I had to scare up a blank and get a new one made. Now its time to load ammo and go shooting if they let me out of the house. The last photo shows a blemish, that was a 22 calber bullet we found when cutting the blank so just left it in and epoxied the area around it. So I guess you could say it has already been shot. It is 6.5 x 53R

Well done Rolland, that's a really nice looking rifle. You have done a great job there, very classy. I am looking forward to hearing how it shoots.

Roland, by the way are they the sling swivels from Kudue. What did you think of them.

Matt
They are outstanding quality and thank you for the recommendation. They are most impossible to find here.
Still waiting to see what you are building

Yes they are outstanding quality especially for the price. I have several sets of them and you can see why Westley Richards are happy to sell them, although at a much higher price.

Bob DeVrieg is an excellent gunsmith and has built many of the rifles used by members of the BGRC and they are all superb. He is a really nice chap as well.
