has anyone here ever used rifled choke tubes in a shotgn? if so how well did they work or not work? thanks smitty

The U-tuber "taofledermaus" is mostly about shotguns and their various projectiles. You can google that name and find them.
They oft times use a 12 bore with screw-on choke. It works most of the time quite well with a variety of full sized slugs. They also use smoothbore and rifles 12 bores.
I don't think the rifled chokes work with the sabot slugs very well, but that might not be for all of them.

Thanks for the info Daryl, I'll give that a go by the by where in bc are you? I,m an american far northern canadian from alaska ,down in wa state settling some estates then it will be back north to retire thanks again smitty

I drove the alcan for many years from wa state prince george was my overnight stop I believe at grandmas inn .always a good drive through in the early spring during hard water season always remembered in the pubs to go go canucks as I found some here love their hockey ,in about a year after I have settled the estates here of lost family will return to alaska to retire thanks smitty
