Hi Folks,
We have just added a second bit of awesome buffalo charge footage on our portal – this version is every bit as impressive as the first – shows a real close call while following up a hard hit bull in thick mopani bush.
To view choose “safari footage” from the right lower menu options at www.africanhuntersguild.com once there, select the 2nd buff footage option
Trust that our forum members here will find it interesting.

If it opens a window and displays the African Hunters Guild logo. Look to the bottom border and on the left hand side there is a play button, but you can't see it. Click the top bit you can see and the videos should play (as long as they have downloaded).
The window for the video that opens is incorrectly sized and hides the "TV" controls.

The new buffalo charge video is interesting. Close cover, buffalo bounding up and getting very close.
What calibre rifles were used? The shot that drops the buff is not a brain shot, but still knocks him about.

I have tried to start it that way but what I get is this.
Connecting to media and the directly ready, then nothing is happening.
I suggest we are given the adress without the Java script and that would be easier to look at.

Hi folks,
We have had many folk view the footage successfully however and from your replies it seems that that the footage will not play back for some folk - the "techies" feedback is this is dependent on bandwith, internet browser version and the codecs on the respective individuals PC's. Either which way it is no doubt very frustrating and needs fixing!
Given the many many different versions out there it is going to be a challenge to find a common denominator; we will attempt to fix this so that all can share in this great footage.
I'll post back here once we have been able to figure it.
Regards

A direct link to the movie file would work pretty well instantly.

Thanks for the direct links. Much better. I can watch them now on a 6 inch screen rather than a 1 1/2 inch screen.
The second buff video gets pretty hairy. Look at the scene when the tracker is between the charging buff and the shooter. Then when the shooter fires and the buff hits the tree. The tracker is just to the right of the buffalo just on the border of the screen.
Good stuff.
Erik, you might have to wait till after your Zimbabwe trip. It is a good buff charge video

It sure appears that the tracker got pownded. He is blotted out on purpose, it appears. If you stop the action as the buff charges you will see him flying toward the hunter and fall to the hunter's front left. It looks like the buffalo then pownds him as the hunter is shooting. In close inspection about midway through I can see the tracker's hand...near the ground in the middle of the blurred area.
It sure shows that buffalo hunting isn't a namby-pamby day's shooting afield!
