Now I have got all Rigby lovers attentions and haters as well.
Joel Dorleac-Guissett shared this image, of three firearms at Dorleac & Dorleac, of three Rigby Rising Bites, a .470, a .350 and a .303 . Surely something for everyone to love and be able to use.
A .303, wonderful for a deer stalk or an impala on the plains.
A .350, ideal for a driven boar hunt, a moose or bear hunt, or even a gaur or banteng or water buffalo in India, or a cape buffalo in Africa.
A .470, for anything and everything that walks the Earth.
Joel is toughing it at the moment in the Balkans chasing his beloved Chamois, but has promised more sometime in November.

Not sure anybody actually hates an original Rigby or a Rigby double of any vintage for that matter.
Fantastic rifles, all in great cartridges.
One of the chaps at the BGRC has an original Rigby Rising Bite in 400-350 and I was fortunate enough to be able to shoot several rounds with it. What a gun and very mild to shoot, sort of like a 30-06.
Matt.

Add a M98 bolt action in .275 and .416 and what a battery one would have.

Love the look of these Rigby doubles, just something about them that can’t be articulated (by me anyway).

A Rigby double in.303would be dandy. John Rigby was after all the originator of the .303...
