Hello all.
I have a full set of parts and a plain hard maple stock blank for sale.

I have (or had) a prospective customer that wanted a Hawken. Very authentic, simple and common, as was made by Sam Hawken in the hey-day of the production of the Hawken shop in St Lewis.
I am guessing he has had something come up and needs the money, or perhaps maybe just got tired of waiting for me to build the rifle.

I stopped taking on any more custom work almost 4 years ago now and I am catching up, but all I can do is all I can do. I work 60-65 hour weeks, 6 days a week, and there simply in no more time for me to go any faster, not to mention the fact that work rushed is usually done to a lower quality standard.

I am not sure why he wants to give up on the rifle now but it's his ball game and he is 100% in his right to want to stop the project before I start it. He did send me $656 for parts and so if anyone wants these parts please contact me. I'll have you write a money Order directly to him and at that point I can send the parts to the new owner,

Or if you'd like I can simply place the new name on the existing order. I expected to build the rifle in the coming year barring any more pressing matters that pull me away from the work-shop (as I have had to deal with several times in the past 2 years)

If someone wanted to have an authentic Hawken rifle made but wanted to change a few details I would be open to discussion.
I build from blanks. so most stock dimensions can be accommodated from the piece of wood in this set.
