Why the leopard is known as "Chui" pronounced as Chewy in Swahili.

I have pics of a rifle that CHUI bit down hard on.. left marks on the front of the stock and barrel both..

I looked straight over a leopard in relatively short grass ( not the nine foot stuff we walked through at the end of the wet season) at about 15m at some buff at about 30m. After a couple of minutes I noticed the leopard.
Sent a chill up my spine! About 10am.
