G'Day Fella's,

Yes Ripp, in a heart beat!

I have a new Win 1886 in my sights, and maybe next year, I'll own one.
Then there's a new 1885 single shot as well ..............

D'oh!

As 86's go, if not held rigidly to an old original, but wanting a newer version, the Pedersoli 71/86 is superior in fit, finish , feel and action cycling to the Japanese Browning version. My bro has both and the Ped. With the pistol grip, lighter barrel and hold/fit is Very nice.
Actually feels like a 71.

Thanks for that tip on this again Daryl.
I do have a Pedisoli catalog, and it's has several pages of "1886 Eye Candy"!

Merry Christmas

That 71/86 is a marvelous hunting rifle, in .45/70.
I have attempted to trade my Uberti model 1876 .50/95 for it. So far, he will not budge.
