Friend of mine out of Helena built this..While its not what I am really interested in ...find the work incredible... He is currently building a lightweight 28 Nosler for me, but that's another story..

What type of rifle is that Ripp......certainly a very fancy piece of kit?
Is it a Winchester 85 with a fancy lever to load/unload?
Unusual scope too, certainly looks period that's for sure!

It appears very close to a Steven's 44 1/2, is it not?

Off of his site:

This is a schuetzen rifle we did a while back. It is a take down and chambered for 22 LR and 17 WSM.
