NOT me..really enjoy them..(but you and I are different that way) --one can make so many changes to the stock to make it fit like a glove..plus the calibers they come in are a pure joy to shoot..

I get it in that they are not a nice wood stock with glamorous engraving..which frankly is another reason I like them..those guns to me are nice to look at but I dont buy guns to look at, rather buy them to use the crap out of them in all sorts of conditions..with these I certainly don't have to worry about a scratch or dent anywhere..it simply is what it is...

Having said all that, NO, the Remington would not be my first choice in this style of rifle..nor 2 and 3rd for that matter...

I'd probably go the Tikka as first choice, then the Rem. Had to many problems with Ruger.
