Don't know anything about it, but it sure is a nice DR, Matilda I believe he called it... Love to see someone shoot one like that!

Incredibly long barrels on that thing, an early breech-loader, that's for sure.

OK, its only a movie, but I wish they wouldn't bullshit so much. A steady hand and careful alignment of the sights directs a bullet accurately, not some mystical inner will-power!

It has been awhile since I saw that movie, but I remember pointing out that rifle to my wife...who could have cared less.

I do have a question: does anyone have a nice picture of the .600 NE Butch build for the Jurassic Park movies?

So many movies do it though! Utter bull**** at times! The floating ball shot off the 'nautilus' is my fav laughable shot! Don't get me started on how they built the Nautilus and it's GPS system at the turn of the century though! Bah!

The interesting thing about Jules Verne and his actual stories - not these modern toilet paper movies - was his prediction of many marvels of science which have come to pass. His "Nautilus" was a submarine before any decent submarine had been built. The diving suits etc. Also his other stories also have predicted many things that have come to pass. Some accurate that some people have suggested he really did have a time machine.

That movie "League of Incredible Gentlemen" was one of the worst movies I have unfortunately had to pay for. And that I think was only on a hire DVD.

The original, "League of Gentlemen" was far better.
