At least he didn't send you the bolt AFTER the destructive testing.

I don't expect much destruction. That said, it wouldn't have been a good selling point!
I did find another bolt (German/Turk GEW) that headspaced with the same barrel. Been very busy and haven't had a good window of time to build a fixture to hold the barreled action.
Did take the camera to the range for another trip, confirmed they will work as I hoped. Resolution is poor (they were cheap), but they will capture the action. (No pun intended...) Will also take some higher rez stills to fill in the gaps.

4seventy ,do you remember what Brand of ammo it was ? I had some Factory Browning 300 Win mag ammo and one of the cases split at the base ! sending gas,smoke, out the ports the action ,was in a Wby mk 5 ,I'm glad I wasn't using some other bodgy brand actioned rifle
