New gun case
      #300680 - 23/05/17 12:11 AM

I just got ready my clients new gun case, or as I prefer to call it, gun chest. I photo shot it with my own Husqvarna but, as you see, it has been made for Sauer, more closely to say, Sauer 202. The material of chestīs frame is plywood, covered with 2 mm thick wege tanned cow leather and inside wool beize. Separate inner box has been upholstered outside with painted canvas, inner side is, again, wool beize. These brown wooden bars are walnut three. Whole outside bottom is covered with 4mm thick walnut board. Fittings, hinges and screws are brass or brass covered steel.

I made this smaller wooden box earlier for same client. As you see itīs permanent place is in the bottom locker in chest. Photo below tells what it contains.

Fantastic, really well done. Lovely colours and nifty little drinks box. Very impressive.

Going to take some serious grunt to move that one about; quality work that is for sure, will last generations.

Serious old world charm. Very nice work. To make that for the Australian market you would have to plastic line one lower compartment for a carton of beer and ice.

Thanks for yours kind words. This chest may look heavy but yesterday I carried it alone some hundred yards without any pain. And Iīm not really any especially strong quy.
The main use for this is to be a place in car where yours rifle, ammo etc. are safely packed when you driving toward yours hunting area.

Top shelf craftsmanship. Many great ideas encased in one box.
