Do to my travels was able to shoot/handle a couple of these in the past couple weeks..have to say, for the money they were nice to shoot. Pointed well and seemed to be well put together ..again for the price point they are at.. IMHO.. I know they are not a great name or quality as many on here may have or use..but....

Back in the late 80's, I had a beautiful 20 bore SxS SKB. I bought it for ducks and geese at a local lake, chambered 3" so I could use 1 1/4oz. lead #2's and 4's. for the geese, along with my preferred #5's and 6's for the big mallards.

What I found with THAT gun is it did not shoot anywhere near where it was looking, so I dumped it and bought a 3" Citori 12 bore that was murder on both ducks and geese. The steel shot law came in, I sold the Browning and stopped hunting migratgory birds.

The SKB was a delightful gun to shoot, but only really shot 7/8oz. 7 1/2's well, everything else diverged so badly along with elevation problems, as to be ridiculous & so difficult to hit with.

They look good to me. I was hoping to get a second hand one in 20g cheaply for the last two years but the prices were too high so ive gone with a webly and scott.

SKB used to make Weatherby side by side and over-under shotguns until Japanese costs got too expensive for Weatherby. I don't believe that the Weatherby shotgun line has ever recovered from that decision. Weatherby guns are not supposed to be inexpensive, but they are supposed to work well.
