Not this one I can tell you. With apologies to Ash and whoever bought it I think those Certus are the ugliest actions ever. Just my opinion of course and not wanting to be negative. I would sleep easy over that one Joshua.

Thank you claydog, the action wasn't the prettiest I admit but it grew on me quick with the nice engraving

I would concede it was the prettiest certus of I seen and did look nicely finished. Are you after something in particular or just looking to get into some classic rifles. You need to be warned that it is a dangerous path you are heading down. Once you get one you will want more. It is a beast that can never be tamed. No mater how nice the rifle you get you will see something else you think you would also like. Can lead to financial and relationship struggles. Fairly warned be thee.

I am well aware and am ready to catch the classic rifle bug. Particular to me are some of the nicer martini rifles, any Mauser that is nice and well proportioned lol, and some of the rook rifles. Money unfortunately for me is not easy to come by, but it is going to something else very worthwhile, getting married this year. Along with moving to upstate New York a week later. To me it need not have the nicest wood or the fanciest engraving but must be a nice firearm. A lot of my interest has really gotten into early 20th century sporters built on military actions, and those executed by great names like sedgley, G&H, etc. I want something that screams classic

You don't see many rook rifles that are made on a bolt action in the US. Unless you are a reloader with considerable skill you may want to stay clear of the rook calibers. Especially those that arn't the 360 cal.

Wayne is right - & I will add, a reloader with the knowledge to make his or modify others to make his own cases if need be.

Kidding, there are reasons they never took off in popularity beyond just looks!
