That's what you think! I've hired an IT guy to take over control of this forum the morning I leave, just to prevent you from posting all those slanderous stories about me. OK, some of them, I mean most of them, are probably true.

NEWS UPDATE!!!

I have decided to donate my hunt, all inclusive, to Erik. He is such a great guy that he deserves two hunts this year!

I'm almost speachless! Thank you very much, it is greatly appreciated,

but unfortunately, I've been declared too sensitive to hunt, by every country in Africa.

I would have loved to go, and sent you some pictures when I got back.

Believe me, I wish I was there now, but, having a mortgage, car payments, and credit cards, and of course the price of shipping and taxidermy, dictates that I work up to the last possible hour. Of course, my sales manager also reminded me that since I'll be missing 2 1/2 weeks of work, that's no excuse for missing my quota for the month, so I've been working to get ahead of pace. By the end of the day, I'll still be on pace, and at quota when I get back. Sales jobs - you gotta love it.

ErikD-It seems as though Mr. Murphy, of Murphy"s Law fame has struck. I woke up yesterday morning with a stiff neck (can't turn my head to the left, or move my head to look up), and moderate to severe pain from my right scapula area, up through my shoulder. Yesterday, and last night was spent devouring pain pills, and muscle relaxants, along with non stop heating pad applications. Woke up this morning with no relief.

Please ErikD, remove the pins from that Voodoo Doll. I promise, I won't make fun of you anymore.

Two more days.....hopefully.

As soon as the plane tickets are in my hand and I'm on the way to africa to do your hunt, I'll consider taking a pin or two out of the voodoo doll.

Keep in mind that I learned a thing or two while in Togo and Benin. So don't try any funny stuff with me! I still have some more pins I can stick into the voodoo doll!

Could it be stress? Better to give the hunt to Eric the Sensitive as a precaution. Your health is more important.

Good luck and keep a journal so you can post a hunt report when you get back. You never know when old-timers can strike

No, I haven't left yet. I've been waiting for ErikD to show up at my door and collect his tickets. If he doesn't show up, I'm going to stay home until the last possible minute so I can torment you longer.

By the way, 1 (ONE) more day to go.

Glad you got some mountain ducks. Are they anything like a Kudu

No kudu, did see a couple of sitatunga when I squinted real hard. Trudging in the sucking mud did remind me of Arnhemland last year.

BTW that is August again this year when you will be in the deep deep depths of PSD (post safari depression).
